Day Four on Raw Ya'all
Had some really cool conversations today with people who are on their own nutritional journey. I've thought a lot about why eating raw actually feels like a spiritual thing -- and I think I begin to touch upon this reason toward the end of the following video. Loving our body and treating it well has everything to do with love in general, love as a discipline. I do think we need to love ourselves actively; in doing so we are able to love others more fully.
And what the world needs now? Is love, sweet love!

It's nice how you keep making at least one new, very relevant point every day on this. My favorite part today is that about there not being one definitive "nutrition-truth" that just applies to everyone. You are right, everyone has their own needs, and it really helps and improves one's life to find out just what those needs are.
Also, I think that a lot of your current journey here is psychological. By that, I don't mean imagining or making up things, but consciously accepting eating as a positive process. Living guilt-free. I think that does a lot to improve your personal feeling of well-being. I make similar experiences whenever I go through a day without straying too far from what I feel is best for me.
PS: No, thank you for embarking on this inspiring quest and sharing your feelings in this format.
your comments are so great. your second paragraph in particular hits the nail on the head. living guilt free. accepting eating as a positive process. that really is somewhat new to me -- i've done it in bursts before, but have never sustained it, not really. a lot of that has to do with my disorder, and it's one of the biggest things in my life i've ever had to conquer...and i still battle the negative thought patterns that come from it.
so eating positively? and without guilt? that's kind of a big thing for me, and certainly, to date, the best thing about this whole gig.
If there's something great about my comment here, it's that I was able to refrain from commenting on the phrasing "As soon as he pulled out, he changed his entire way of eating".
No, but seriously... I always find it very inspiring to witness such a positive experience. I really hope that this will keep working for you and make you feel better and healthier in the long run.
